I’m a retired principal of a private school. I have been hosting painting competitions over the years occasionally.
Diwali is a festival of happiness, lights, spiritual victory. Light symbolises the destruction of all negative thoughts. The positive energy gives you strength and motivation for the rest of the year.
we light diya and put up lights. We decorate our houses by making rangolis, and putting flowers. I also go shopping to buy gifts for my loved ones. I put up a prayer stall for godess luxmi and decorate it. Sweets are bought and shared. Me and my family gather together to share this special festival’s happiness with one another.
