Female entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce.
India has produced a number of women entrepreneurs in Social field in the recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare, branding, Social services, etc. Maharashtra notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.
Hello Womeniya. Com always has a very special corner for the women, and the news portals is working towards the women-empowerment right from the inception. Hello Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on online platform. The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.
In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this episode we are introducing you a very dynamic and and popular social Entrepreneur of Inner wheel who firmly believes in Social service and charity work yes we are talking about Amrita Thakre who is current president of IWC Chanda Fort .She shared her Entrpreuner and Inner wheel Journey with Hello Womwniya Correspondent Ruchika Sawant.
Brief Introduction of Amrita Thakre :

Inner wheel club of Chanda Fort elected as president of this club (year 2020-2021) because of my enthusiastic approach and dedication towards social work. Due to covid 19 many of us club presidents faced an enormous number of challenges, but my positive thoughts towards accepting these challenges kept me going forward and completed each task. My team and all the club members kept me motivated throughout the year.
During my tenure I along with my team did a lot of projects which were very beneficial for the society .
Charity project Amid pandemic
Some of the highlighted projects are-
1) Developed Inner wheel forest in mamla village dist chandrapur
2) installed 3 benches made of single use plastic at Shantidham
3) solar power energy project in chandrapur.
4) Donated funds and executed a health checkup camp in an old age home in village Devada and built innerwheel katta for the beneficiary.
5) Arranged marriage of a poor girl with Donation and funding.
6) Helped Physically handicaped girls/women to be self employed.
7) Distributed mask with Inner wheel logo and sanitizers to health workers and safai kamgar.
8) Donate Essentials to the orphan children as per requirement.
9) Did plantations on various sites.
10) Awareness for no plastic use and distributed paper cups with innerwheel logo to roadside tea stalls
12) Installed E-learning kit in an Adopted school
13) Adopted a needy girl child for education
14) Provided required medicinal help to unclaim animals .
15) conducted blood donation camps.
16) Awareness of the menstrual cycle and donated sanitary napkins in girls’ schools.
17) Dental checkup camp
While doing such on field projects during pandemic situations we also conducted various Virtual programmes. Programs that included for self employment, Lifestyle, Health, Hobbies such as- Recipie of self love and self care, Go green on screen, Create your own backdrops, Role of nutrients on health etc.
While doing such social work, keeping in mind our inner wheel theme i did follow all themes as lead the change, Association theme hope and dist theme sewa…

About District 303 :
Inner wheel District 303 one of the most important District of Inner wheel in Maharashtra which covers North Maharashtra and Vidrabha Region. It covers many big cities and districts of Maharashtra such as Nasik, Jalgaon, Akola, Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha and Chandrapur etc. This District performed well during this difficult time of Pandemic. All clubs did many charity work projects for pandemic affected people in rural areas of Maharashtra.
