International Women’s Day, celebrated every year is a day of advocacy for women’s rights and equality around the world.
Understanding some of the challenges faced by women around the world is an important step in advocating for gender equality.
To celebrate International Women’s Day this year,.Mumbai based Ngo Alankar Creation organised a grand event. The prime highlight of this event was of a student who attained top 10 postion in CA exam was feliciated by Sudha Singh, Municipal Councillor and Founder of the NGO, Alankar Creation.
Jyotsana Rasam, ACP, Mumbai Police and Sujata Patil also attended this felicitation event.
Speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Sudha Singh said, ” In todays era women are playing very important and significant role in every sphere be it in Politics, Corporate and education.
“This International Women’s Day gives us the privilege and the rare opportunity to honour and feliciate all Women. Our Ngo Alankar Creation always support and work for Women Empowerement and so
this function was part of it”
The felicitation function was attended by all Women, Women Entrepreneurs, Social Activists Female Police Officers and many others in various field of their professional career.
