Glitz And Glamour At 12th Edition Of Tassel Fashion And Lifestyle Award Ceremony Rewarding Great Personalities

The 12th edition of Tassel Fashion and Lifestyle Awards 2019 was held on 01st June 2019 at The Lalit Mumbai.The guest includes the name of the bollywood celebrities as Malaika Arora, Madhur Bhandarkar, Sayaani Gupta, Parul Gulati, Kunal Rawal along with Amruta Khanvilkar, Zaheer Iqbal, Pranutan and many more. It is the most awaited fashion award eve which is full of glitz and glamour and is drawing everyone’s attention.

Tassel  has a long legacy now in its 12th year ,and was instituted by Mr. Vivek Gautam, with the idea of endorsing creative & innovative talent  in the fashion world. Tassel fashion and lifestyle awards (TFLA) is the  pioneer in India. It is a prestigious award ceremony that is dedicated to felicitating the industry stalwarts for their achievements and contributions while showcasing creative talent through fashion walks, which takes place in the midst of the award ceremony.

The event is known to set a benchmark for creative brilliance, and embarks the designers on a successful journey towards the competitive fashion industry. Through Designer & Model Hunt,TFLA provides a free platform for designers & models to compete in this most glamorous & competitive field. The 12th edition of TFLA Model Hunt was hosted on May 27th. The competition is a Pre Event for Tassel Fashion and Lifestyle awards, which celebrates and honours the achievers of the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment

industry.The 12th  edition of “Designer hunt” is a freestyle design competition, for creative, talented  and young professionals to get a platform & get a recoginization in a fashion capital, Mumbai. In 2019 Tassel Designer Hunt  received tremendous response with 300+ designers competing across India. After a lot of Skimming and Scanning, top 5 designers had been shortlisted who underwent The Jury Round of designer Sougat Paul, Influencer Sonam Babani, Priti Buxani and Shirin Salvan of Pernia pop up shop on 30th May. These designers got an opportunity to showcase their collection at the prestigious Tassel Awards . There were many awards like Fashion Designer of the year which was awarded to Kunal Rawal, Fashion Designer of the year-Milliner- Shilpa Chavan, Fashionista of the Year-Gabriella Demetriades, Innovation in Fashion Styling- Esha Amin, Fitness Coach of the year- Yasmin Karachwala, Fashion Designer of the year- Shehla Khan.  They even awarded the  celebrities  as, Contribution in Indian Cinema (Social)- Madhur Bhandarkar, Fittest woman of the year- Malika Arora, Breakthrough performance of the year- Sayani Gupta, Cultural Ambasador of Maharashtra- Amruta Khanvilkar, Style Icon of the year (female)- Sobhita Dhulipala, Syle icon of the year (male)- Arjun Mathur, Fresh face male- Zaheer Iqbal, Fresh face (female)- Pranutan Bhail, Photographer of the year- Avinash Gowarikar. These were the awards for the celebrities.This also had awards for Influence of year (IOY)in beauty, styling, which were presented as, Influencer of the year in Fashion- Juhi Godambe, Influencer of the year in Lifesyle- Riya Jain,Influencer of the year in Beauty- Debasree Banarjee, Media Influencer of the year- Viral Bhayani, Global Achievers  Kings United Hair and make- Vipul Bhagat, Life Style Living (Residental Devloper)- Hari Nair,Celebrity Management- Yash Mistry, Celebrity Host- Sachin Kumbhar, Fashion Choreographer- Shie Lobo,after this the winner of winner of Model hunt and Designer hunt was announced, which was House of Girla of Designer hunt.

The highlight of the event was the launch of clothing label ORI by designer HImani Thapa. A breathtaking collection of garments using sustainable fabrics.
