Nikita Shah while Elaborating and mentioning her detail charity projects said that, ” Covid pandemic literally turned our lives on its head. The fallout affected lives across the spectrum in different ways. The student community all over the world has been greatly affected. Kudos to the human spirit and hard work on the part of schools and teachers education was not allowed to suffer and online studies became an everyday affair.”
President Nikita and her team members of The Innerwheel club of Jawaharnagar Baroda stepped in to help those in need.
After a thorough background check we identified and donated smart mobile phones to deserving and needy students of various classes from 9th till college, thus enabling them to attend classes and continue their studies
4 computers were donated to students of class 10 and 12. This was done with the view to encourage group learning. Families with more than one child in the house would also benefit from having a computer, said Nikita Shah.
Nikita Shah further added, “The pandemic resulted in massive job losses. People often found it difficult to make ends meet. Members of IWC Jawaharnagar took it upon themselves to bring a ray of hope in their lives by distributing 80 ration kits in rural areas. The kits comprised of rice, flour, daal, oil and masalas.”
Nikita Shah further added, ” Job losses and salary cuts also meant lack of funds for the elderly and the feeble.
IWC Jawaharnagar Baroda donated 11 wheel chairs in the rural areas of the Panchmahal district which is an underdeveloped area.”,
In this COVID Pandemic times when visitors are not allowed in the hospital President Nikita and her team thought a TV would brighten up the children’s day, so
a 50 inch SMART TELEVISION was donated to the paediatric ward of GMRES hospital, a government hospital in Baroda
With the kinds words Nikita Shah conveyed “You educate a man, you educate a man.
You educate a woman, you educate an entire generation”.
President Nikita and the members of IWC Jawaharnagar donated a sum of Rs 3,00,000/- (Three Lakhs) to sponsor the school/tution fees of needy students,
They have also donated 11 oxygen cylinders to the Karuna Setu trust hospital at Vadnagar.”
