Women Social entrepreneurs and business are leaving their mark on the world. By creating successful companies, they are contributing to the betterment of the economy. Female entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce.
India has produced a number of women entrepreneurs in Social field in the recent decades. They have ventured into various domains and widened their arena into many healthcare, branding, Social services, etc. Maharashtra And Karnatka notably has the highest number of women entrepreneurs in India.
Hello Womeniya. Com always has a very special corner for the women, and the news portals is working towards the women-empowerment right from the inception. Hello Womeniya’s main objective is to promote women entrepreneurs and create their digital identity on online platform. The woman plays a very important role in our society, she is a housewife, a mother, a friend, a colleague for a long time, and now she also plays the role of businesswoman, entrepreneur and politician. Women have started spreading their wings and there is nothing that can stop them now.

Savitha Shivkumar who is PDC of Inner wheel District 316 and currently president of Rotary Club of Chitradurga Fort She shared her Entrpreuner and Inner wheel Journey with Hello Womwniya Correspondent Ruchika Sawant.
Brief Introduction of L. Savitha Shivkumar :
I am L. Savitha Shivakumar. District 316
A Past District Chairman of Innerwheel ( world’s largest woman’s organization) . I am a Rotarian too. Presently , the President of Rotary club Chitradurga fort.
I joined Innerwheel club of Chitradurga Fort in the year 2006. Our club was formed in the year 2002. Since then, we have been doing a lot of service projects. During my tenure as a President , our club raised to being the Best club in the District. We did many Mega programs for the Public. We did Health programs and Awareness programs related to Environment, Health, Culture and Education. I am the first to become the District Chairman from my club. We have come out with District History book and club History books during my tenure as a District Chairman. We worked to bringing back girl children to school and all the members of the District supported for the same cause. We were successful in bringing back 555 girl children back to school, transforming schools into happy schools, building Toilets and wash stations at schools. Providing support to other District during floods. My Presidents and my Team of EC supported me in achieving contributing to the society in every way we could. We showed the world what we could do together as a Team.
About District 316:
One of the most important District of Inner Wheel in South India which covers big cities and districts of Karnataka such as Bellary, Koppal, Kadapa, Hospet, Chitradurga, Vidyanagar , Gulbarga ,Anantapur, Nellor, and Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh. This District performed well during this difficult time of pandemic and majority of the clubs came forward to support pandemic affected people.
Brief History of Inner Wheel :
Inner Wheel founded by Mrs. Oliver Golding in 1923 is the World’s Second Largest Non-Governmental Voluntary, Women’s Service Organization consisting of mainly women folks of Rotarian. It’s purpose is to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of society. The Inner Wheel is the world’s second largest women’s organization and comprises of the women folk of Rotarians. It is a recognized voluntary Non-Government Organization to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of the Society. In recognition of its social service, it has got representation in the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Inner Wheel concentrates upon Friendship and Personal Service.
