Brief Introduction of IWC :
International Inner Wheel Club is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pendamic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide.
Notably, Inner wheel club is an active and vibrant organisation that aids the poor and needy people even in nature’s calamity.

Its helping hand in distribution
If essential items to the needy and poor.
Amid this Covid-19 2nd Wave pandemic, everyone is going through dilemmas and the Inner Clubs are trying to minimise it
Needless to mention Inner wheel club have accomplished numerous significant social projects in medical, vocational, educational, and many other areas of endeavor.
In the midst of this Pandemic, they are providing benefits to the needy ones.
Even in the 1st Wave of the pandemic Inner wheel Club have risen to the grim situation and dustributed essential items to the needy and poor.
In our Inner wheel series in this episode we are introducing. A well known social Entrepreneur Mrs. Anita Sinha who is also District Co Ordinator of Inner wheel club District 312. She shared her Inner wheel Glorious journey, charity projects and lockdown experience with Hello Womeniya.
Brief introduction of Mrs. Anita Sinha
She Born and brought up in Patna, the capital city of Bihar. After schooling at St.Joseph’s Convent and Notre Dame Academy, completed a post-graduation in English from Patna University. From adolescence, she loved to do social work as was influenced by her grandfather who was a freedom fighter and a stalwart supporter of the weaker sections of the society, and her Uncle, a remarkable politician who worked relentlessly and selflessly for the upliftment of the downtrodden and the needy.
Married to an Ophthalmologist and blessed with two children, and settled in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, took up the teaching profession. And devoted about 10 years to this noble profession. Currently, she is the MD of Uma Devi Netralaya and has been associated with Inner Wheel Club since 2014. At the club level have taken posts of Editor, ISO, Secretary, and was the President for the year 2019-20 and has been awarded as the Diamond President and the Club as Diamond Club.
Holding the post of Coordinator for Save Water and Water conservation. for the year 2020-21. An active social worker has been involved in various charitable projects.
Involved in taking care and adopting the orphanage and helping them in all possible ways. Has been recognized and awarded an appreciation letter by the UP Government for doing extraordinary work for the women inmates of Ballia Jail.
She keeps Visiting Old Age Home regularly and organizing eye camps. Looking in on many schools and bring awareness about good touch and bad touch, menstrual hygiene, and self-defense among the girl students,
Encouraging the rural women to earn their living by training them to make Bindis and sanitary napkins from cloth and selling them in the market. Benefiting the special children by organizing health camps for them.
Works related to Covid 19:-
1.Distributed 200 packets containing Poha, Bread, Biscuits, and Namkeen among the needy.
2.Distributed 200 kg Rice,200 Kg Atta, 100 Kg Daal, and 20 Kg salt, 50 liter Oil,100 kg potatoes
3. 3000 face masks and 100 kits each containing hand sanitizer, liquid hand wash, and Dettol soap were given to the district magistrate for distribution among the needy.
4. 75 meters of cloth given to a needy girl for making masks. Vitamin C tablets and storybooks were given for Covid patients admitted to L1 centers. About 30 Inner Wheel members joined hands to serve food to the needy and were ready 24*7 to cook food within 30 minutes whenever the demand came from the Administration and this service continued for 2 months.
Overseeing Diwali Mela for fundraising to carry out the various charitable works. Zonal meets at Varanasi, Multi-city rally at Lucknow and Maitri (The Friendship exchange program) in Nepal.
While addressing the current pandemic situation she said, “During this crisis due to the pandemic I have to say Follow all the Covid protocol and
Stay Safe and Positive and Healthy and Happy. Have faith in God. “If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
