Women Social entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Collectively we can make a change by closing the gap between men and women in the workforce. Entrepreneurs are those adventurous, daredevils who drive deep into the pressing problems of society and try to find solutions to them, not by leaving the responsibilities in the reins of the government or business, but by trying to change systems as a whole and persuading societies to take new initiatives.
In our Social Entrepreneur series today We are introducing you a very dynamic and popular Social Entrepreneur of Tiruchi Malaikottai who is known for her remarkable and outstanding performance in social field particular in Inner Wheel Club who always believes in Women Empowerment and social entrepreneurship. Yes, we are talking about Mrs. Shubha Karthikeyan, President Inner Wheel Club of Tiruchi Malaikottai, District 321, she shares her Service and Charity Project with Hello Womeniya Correspondent Priyanka Yadav.
Key Highlights of Service Project:
Project 1:
We have trained 50 Elderly Ladies of Pallakadu Village (outskirt of Trichy) to Sign their signature. First time they were learning to write the alphabet. They had given training for 1 month. We are very happy to say that now they are not using their finger print anywhere. That was the 1st Batch. We also trained 50 more Elderly Ladies from same village.

Project 2:
We have distributed decomposing Bags for the Passenger@Trichy Railway Station Paper cups was distributed to the Vendors of the stall.

Project 3:
We have sponsored Refrigerator, Induction Stove and Bedsheet for Incubator . It was all given in the Neonatal Care Ward of Trichy Government Hospital.

We have installed School Name Board at Trichy to Tanjore Highway. This school is for Indigenous Community Children.

We conducted 2 Days Arts & Crafts Workshop for the Pallakadu Government Aided Middle School children. We taught Calligraphy, Paper Bag Making, Glass painting & Paper Flower making.

We Inaugurated Inner Wheel Library at Thiruvalluvar Gurukula Elementary School. This school is for Indigenous Community Children.

On Account of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorable Day we have planted 12 Sapplings. We had announced a open Competition for School Children. Title – “Kalam Prosperity” Selfie with Saplings. 100sappilings was planted by the School children in various States & Countries.

Brief Introduction of International Inner Wheel :
International Inner Wheel is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members. IWC has very strong presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousands clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid-19 Pandemic breaks out Inner wheel club launched charity campaign worldwide. In our Inner wheel Social entrepreneur series in this Episode we are introducing very popular face of IWC, she doesn’t need any kind of Introduction.
