Yes we are taking about Sangeeta Soni President of Inner Wheel Club of Allahabad Urja, Dist-312 who came forward to provide support to the needy amid a pandemic

Brief Introduction of IWC :

International Inner Wheel Club is an international women’s Social organisation to create friendship, service, and understanding. It has clubs in over 100 countries with over 100,000 members.IWC has a very vital presence in India. It has more than 3000 thousand clubs in Urban and rural India. Since the Covid 19 Pandemic flared Inner wheel club initiated a charity campaign worldwide.

By putting up with all the crucial precautions the club distributed hand sanitizers, masks, and gloves to the people in public who were not wearing them and circulated awareness among the young generation. Their club also provided old age homes with necessary food items like atta, pulses, vegetables, salt, oil, and milk. This club furthermore assisted to renovate the well for the unprivileged people. They hired laborers to properly cement the well and also paint it.

They then mend their hand pump which was earlier not working. Also painted all the emergency numbers like the police, ambulance, fire brigade, to help spread additional awareness among the people. On Christmas, one of the club members disguised themselves as Santa Claus and went to school to spread awareness and help the children in public to spread awareness for their safety and to take precautions.

They supported girl children by opening 10 bank accounts for girls under the “Sukanya mission”. The club similarly organizes weekly vocational training for underprivileged girls in women every week on Sunday in which we train them to reuse the old waste substance to make something beneficial from it and also support them to earn for themselves. They helped in giving solar lights.
