Brief introduction of Shalini Jain:-
She was born on 2nd February to a reputed business family in Allahabad. Her father Mr. Ved Prakash Goel is a businessman and her mother Mrs. Santosh Goel is a homemaker. Mrs. Neelima Agarwal,
Her sister and Mr. Yogesh Goel, brother, both are settled in Allahabad.
She did her Secondary education at St. Anthony’s Convent and graduated from Allahabad University. She got married on 29th Nov’ 91. Her husband Rtn. Sanjeev Jain is a Glass Merchant and Real Estate Developer. She has a son who is doing his B.Com from Delhi University. Her passion is to do social work and help the indigent so that a smile and sunshine could be brought into their lives. She joined IWC Allahabad Navya in 2011-12 and took the post of President in 2014.

During my Presidential tenure, I did many social works for schools in villages, orphanage homes, old age homes, chemotherapy for cancer patients, health camps, Nepal Flood relief, medical kits, and also opened a vocation center and adult education center, and many more services. Many fellowship programs were also organized such as the Teej program, Friendship day, picnic, etc. Their fundraising program for cancer patients was Diwali Fiesta which was very successfully conducted.
She was awarded the best President and Best Club award and 16 other awards in her presidential year.
Charity project details during pandemic :
1. Distributed more than 1,000 food packets of 28kg each containing atta, rice, oil, dal, salt, and vegetables in slum areas, to daily wagers and newspaper hawkers.
2. They Distributed sanitizer, different type of masks, PPE kits, sanitizer spray machine
disinfectant chemicals, face shield, and much more safety equipment to the employees of
Nagar Nigam and safai karamchari (sweepers and cleaners) support to fight against Covid with their City Mayor Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta Ji and District Chairman Mrs. Nusrat Rashid.
3. A water harvesting project was also done in which they distributed masks and sanitizers to laborers and made them aware of the pandemic we are going through.
According to her,” Covid-19 is taking so much from us but it is also giving us something special, the opportunity to come together as one humanity, to work together, to learn together, to grow together. Stay home, stay safe.”

Since the Covid 19 Pandemic broke out Inner wheel club launched a charity campaign worldwide.
