Brief introduction of Mrs.Poonam Gulati:-
Poonam, a woman playing a versatile role on the stage of life. Born and brought up in Ghaziabad, she grew into a confident and humble person with strong moral/family values. As a student, she represented her school at district level basketball and also went for Para trooping in the year 1978. She leads the NCC parade at Republic Day in Delhi. After a bachelor’s in psychology, Poonam completed her B.Ed. Propelled by her desire to learn and with her creative bent of mind she further pursued a diploma in Interior design and Business Management as well.
With the grace of the Almighty, she got married to an eminent businessman Rotarian Satpal Gulati and stepped into the humble city Allahabad. She is blessed with three beautiful children. The Almighty blessed her two daughters and a son, both daughters Richa and Khushboo are married in Delhi, and son Vansh who has joined the family business. It was in the year 1988 when she entered the domain of the Inner Wheel club. After that, there was no looking back. As a member, she was very active and dedicated to service. Soon she became the President of Inner Wheel Club of Allahabad Midtown.
During her term, the club bagged 21 awards: Best President, Best Club, Best Community, etc. During her Inner Wheel carrier, she brought out a corn e recipe book, two souvenirs, and 10 golden rule books for presidents. In her Chairmanship, she made the 1st three new generation clubs in India. She opened an old age home for elderly people and recently made 300 toilets for girls and adopted 2 villages. She has hosted the Installation of Association President and A.C. Meet, 12th Triennial Conference as Triennial Secretary, seminars, inter-district rally and convener of multi-district meet, District Assembly and Conference, and felicitation of IIW president 2014. At every step, she proved to be a good team leader and stood for selfless service.
She is an active and responsible citizen of the city and a member of Garden association, NCWI, Punjabi welfare society, also a patron of the Women’s Cricket Association, and the current President of Ladies Club Allahabad. She has always made efforts to contribute in several spheres for the development of society. She strongly believes in teamwork and combined efforts and with her great sense of commitment and responsibility not only towards her family but also towards society, she has set an example for others to follow.

Inner Wheel, begun by Mrs. Oliver Golding in 1924, is the world’s largest voluntary women service organization created primarily for women.
International Inner Wheel is one of the largest women’s service voluntary organisations in the world and is active in more than 104 countries.
International Inner Wheel has three key objectives:

02. To Encourage the Ideals of Personal Service
03. To Foster International Understanding
Any woman who shares the three central aims of International Inner Wheel can join the organisation
