My journey in Inner Wheel started in 2011 as a charter president of Inner Wheel Club of Dindigul.

My entry at district level was during 2017. Now as a District Vice Chairman have launched a women entrepreneurs e directory to encourage and motivate the Inner Wheel members.

I was the president from 2011 till 2013. During my presidentship I have done a mega fundraising event with media artists and raised four lakhs. Out of this fund constructed 12 toilet blocks to the adopted village needy families, 3 permanent welcome boards with the Club name was fixed in the highways at 3 major entries of the city.

During my presidentship adopted 2 villages,2 government schools and 2 balwadi’s.

Conducted many free camps like cervical cancer detection,PAP test, self breast examination, diabetic camp etc. Counseling sessions regarding tobacco, smoking, alcohol etc. Breastfeeding awareness to young mothers.

Conducted health and hygiene sessions to adolescent school children. Meditation sessions,yoga sessions and conducted various talent competitions to school children’s.

Conducted various sessions for college students like leadership training, personallity development session etc.

Donated various equipment’s for differently abled children’s like hearing aids, learning materials etc.

Brief History of Inner Wheel :

Inner Wheel founded by Mrs. Oliver Golding in 1923 is the World’s Second Largest Non-Governmental Voluntary, Women’s Service Organization consisting of mainly women folks of Rotarian. It’s purpose is to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of society. The Inner Wheel is the world’s second largest women’s organization and comprises of the women folk of Rotarians. It is a recognized voluntary Non-Government Organization to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of the Society. In recognition of its social service, it has got representation in the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Inner Wheel concentrates upon Friendship and Personal Service
