Hello Womeniya

Meet Yojna Rohilla Panipat based Social Entrepreneur who shares her Entrepreneurial Journey with Hello Womeniya

Hello everyone, I’m Yojna Rohilla.

Welcome to my profile,

I originally belong to Roorkee and settled in Panipat in 1992. I completed my Master’s B.Ed and Law degree from Meerut University.

I wanted to pursue a career in Law but life had other plans. Due to unavoidable circumstances I had to start teaching in Bal Vikas School as an Art Teacher. It was difficult for me as I was ambitious for law but the school, the staff especially the chairperson Mrs. Vasundhara Nath and my family were very supportive and here I’m 30 years hence as H.O.D, Painting, Bal Vikas School Model Town Panipat.

We always think what we do would be best for us but my story made me believe that God’s plans are better than ours. coming and settling in Haryana was never a part of my plan but eventually my life turned out great and it proved to be a blessing in disguise.

I met a very supportive and understanding man with a charming personality whom I was lucky enough to marry, we have two beautiful children with great academic profile and a wonderful house.

Apart from being a teacher I am an entrepreneur and a social worker. I have been associated with Nari Kalyan Samiti, Panipat and various other NGOs for many years now. I was blessed enough that my hardwork has been awarded numerous times at National and various State levels as a teacher as well as a social worker. I feel grateful that I’m in a position that I can help others which gives me the real sense of satisfaction.

As an entrepreneur and a social worker, I always try to buck up girls and help them achieve what they desire. Sadly, the sex ratio in Haryana is the worst in the country. Hence, it becomes our utmost duty as a social worker and as a woman to open up new paths for less privileged girls. I really hope my efforts in this area bear great fruits.

Diwali is a reminder that path of darkness will always lead us to light and we must believe this whatever the situation is. Every hustle can be solved with hardwork, consistent efforts and a heart full of hope.
