While sharing her humanitarian services with Neha Singh, Hello Womeniya News Correspondent, she said that her mission is to promote actions, services, and good practices intended to enhance the lives of the needy people.
Amid lockdown, she and her team provided food to the poor and needy people in Azadan Nagar Slum area of Bhatar Road, Surat for 2 months. They served food to the Road Construction Workers and distributed Sanitizer manual machines to Police Stations, Temples, Post Offices and many more deserving places. They also distributed masks in Markets, Traffic Points, Bus Stops, Aaganwadi and many other places.
She further added that they even facilitated Doctors and Plasma Donors as Corona-Covid-19 Warriors.
Brief introduction on Mona Chetan Desai:
Mona Chetan Desai has graduated in Science and was a Teacher in P.P. Savani School.
Amidst full support of her Husband, Chetan Desai, one of the leading businessmen of Surat, Mona Desai is actively involved towards upliftment of underprivileged section of rural area. Rural transformation is her favorite subject to work for.
Through her active association with NGO “Cherish” & Lions Club and by organizing medical camps, providing nutritional food along with educational books, school bags and many more valuable things to tribal and underprivileged kids – she tries to enhance the basic living standards of the tribal people.
She is a GST Coordinator of Lions Club International Dist. 3232 Community VP of JCI Metro Sakhi. She is also running an NGO “Cherish” and is a Committee Member of Ward No.22 (SMC).
