Swarnlata ISO Dist. 315 Inner Wheel Club Of Secunderabad Proves ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS

Swarnalata Krishna Murthy, District ISO, District 315, Past President of Inner Wheel Club, Secunderabad shares her achievements and Charitable work amid the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown with Hello Womeniya News Reporter Neha Singh.

Inner Wheel is an exceptionally recognized organization for friendship and charitable services. It has more than 1400 clubs all over India and 45000+ members across the country. Inner Wheel is spread in 104 countries across the world with more than 1 lakh members.

Speaking with Hello Womeniya News Team, Swarnalata says that she herself handed over 1,500 masks to IG Swati Lakra, IG State Women Safety Wing, Telegana.
Masks were also distributed to police on duty and vigil, sanitation workers, vendors and shelter homes in need. Till now, she has distributed more than 5,000 masks stitched by the victims of Domestic Violence who have been brought under the Rehabilitation Program.
To support the extra needs of these women she has donated Rs. 5,000/- each to the families of 60 women: – a whopping amount of Rs. 3,00,000/-

With Pride she emphasizes that along with her Club IWC Secunderabad she had participated in distributing food grains to many in need.

Introduction of Swarnalata Krishna Murthy:

She is a multifaceted personality. A Management Consultant with experience in training, building software products and user manuals in core engineering, automotive sector and health care services. A national level swimming champion, a Sitar player, she is also involved in hosting classical music festivals and also working for the revival of certain rural handicrafts and hand-looms of the state. She is also an avid traveller.
While talking about her Inner Wheel journey she joined the IWC Secunderabad in the year 2012. As a President she worked towards touching hearts, especially with children for the TEACH PROGRAM and has done large service projects with participation from various corporates.
She was able to launch and take forward “SAHI AWAAZ – YEHI SE SHURUWAT” an awareness programme on the prevention of child sexual abuse, domestic violence and harassment of women, along with the Bharosa Centre.
Further Mrs Swarnalata was responsible for the partnership with USHA INTERNATIONAL and UNDP India, Hyderabad for IWC Secunderabad to set up the skill development center at Bharosa for the rehabilitation of abused victims of violence.

She is passionate about making a difference. She says, “I love the very fact that Inner Wheel gives us an identity as a team of great women power. It creates a platform to help, connect and build bridges across the continents in a welcoming way.”
She has conducted many projects on behalf of her Club and District. She is into charity for the last 40 years.
She personally believes – Whatever you do, do it great and do it to make a difference in someone’s life!! Everything else follows. She is an inspiration to us.
